1 and 2 were masterpieces. The others are dog shit. Fact.
The timed exclusive is facing a sure death.
Valve has said they will not be releasing exclusives for SteamOS. I understand what the article is proposing, but keep their statement in mind.
Ultimately they would piss A LOT of people off, including people with PCs, if you could only get their games from now on, by running them through Steam OS. Huge gamble on their part.
Time to consider PC gaming. Not now, but down the line. Enjoy your new console for a while since you invested in it.
Significant leap over 2, and 2 is no slouch.
I don't care what anyone says, I think it's the BEST TES in the series. TES games are the type that can create great nostalgia for people, therefore people will play favorites with whatever entries they started at. I started with Oblivion, then played Skyrim, then played Morrowind. Morrowind is insanely overrated. It has not aged well, though I can't wait for Skywind to be finalized.
I'm pretty sure Fallout 4 is next.
The devs are trying to sell a game.
PS4 version is also more blurry, likely using FXAA.
PC version looks better. They added in little amounts of quality to the PS4 version, but took a lot out as well. I'm sure TressFX alone is part of this reason. It's a huge performance killer on a good PC.
The silent guy from 3.
And once again, no release date.
You don't know what a hipster is. The old school controller has worked, and could keep 'working.' (limiting gameplay to work for an old scheme) Doesn't mean it can't be improved upon. The PSone and forward traditional controller is not the optimum way to play certain genres and never has been.
Nonetheless, any new thing has to prove itself. You're being just as silly by dismissing something you haven't tried.
Half Life 3 confirmed!
Well, maybe shooting everything gets old real fast. Brother I'm 32 I've played all games.
Would be a really new gaming approach. Some genres and IPs need some freshness. When all else fails, do something really different.
Sure I'll probably get a PS4 + exclusives much later on down the line, but OR is the better 'next gen' buy on the horizon for me.
Being mainly a PC gamer these days, I've decided I'm saving for the final release of OR instead of a PS4. The PS4 is irrelevant to me. $400 is a lot of money to spend just to play Naughty Dog's games, because I don't care about anything else on the Sony roster anymore.
*Lights cigar with $100 bill*
It's not blood 'splatter', if you played the game you'd know why she's covered in blood there.
Yup. It's why I'm pretty much done with 'soles. Once you go with PCs, consoles, are like feces.
:D
